The Town of Delhi is seeking to establsh two summer youth employment positions (up to 35hr/week) to assist the Town Assessor with data entry. These positions will be available dependent upon funding from the Delaware County Youth Bureau. The Town Council will hold a special meeting at 9:00AM on Friday, June 12 at the Town Hall. The special meeting is necessary to officially respond to bids received for a new pool.
Delhi's Joint Flood Commission will hold its first public meeting on June 22 at 6:30PM at Delaware Academy. It is important that members of the public attend this meeting, the first in a series, to help inform visiting engineers about flood issues in Delhi and to guide the near-term planning process. Summer hours for the Town Hall are Monday-Thursday, 9:00 am to 3:30 PM. The Town Hall is not open on Fridays during summer months.

The Delhi Community Garden at Sheldon Park has two open raised beds. There currently is no fee for interested individuals or groups to maintain a bed for the 2015 growing season. All of the produce is the gardeners to keep or donate.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Assessors of the Town of Delhi, County of Delaware have completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy has been filed at the Delhi Town Hall, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the fourth Tuesday in May (May 26th, 2015). A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office.

The Town of Delhi will receive bids on a 2015 or newer, One-Ton, Regular Cab, 4x4, 8 ft. box Pick-up Truck.
Delivery date must be specified and priced guaranteed upon delivery to the Town of Delhi. The Town of Delhi will install a late charge of $100 (one hundred) per day for each day equipment is not received after specified date of delivery.
It is the Board’s intention to award to the lowest bidder meeting these specifications; however, the Town of Delhi reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town. Early delivery time will also be considered in awarding the bid.
Complete specifications are available upon request at the Town of Delhi Highway Department, 3 Elm Street, Delhi, or the Town Clerk’s Office, 5 Elm Street, Delhi.
All bids must be received by 3:00 pm on March 23, 2015 at the Delhi Town Clerk’s Office. A special meeting of the Town Board will be held on March 24, 2015 at 9:00 am to open bids. Bid will be awarded at a later date after all bids have been reviewed.

Amy Beveridge will lead a hike / snowshoe celebration for her birthday on the Bulldog Run Trail. Meet in the Immanuel Lutheran Church parking lot Delhi on Saturday, December 20, 2014 1:00p.m.. (If the lot is full, park across the street at O’Connor Hospital).
The trail is moderate with some steepness. Snowshoes may be required (bring in case–will not be provided). Only well behaved dogs allowed. Amy will be bringing her dog.
While everyone is welcome, winter hiking can be dangerous: dress in layers. Wear boots, bring hats, mittens/gloves and snowshoes. Bring water and a snack.
Amy reserves the right to decline anyone deemed unprepared for inclement weather or current trail conditions.
