A resolution has been put forth to vote on the purchase option for the McFarland Farm at the next Delaware County Board of Supervisors Meeting to be held on March 28, 2018. Town Supervisor Tuthill has gone on record that proceeding on this track will result in lawsuits.
The Delaware County DPW Committee is now also proposing Eminent Domain on the property across the river to build their proposed bridge. It should be noted that DPW has stated from the start they would only deal with willing sellers and any other properties not willing to sell would be dropped off the list!
